Bournemouth Surfing Centre Vintage Surf Comp 2007/8

Due to the complete lack of swell recently, several contests on the west country have been cancelled, and the contest calendar is filling up to capacity. Due to this, I've decided to postpone the comp until spring, possibly to co-incide with a surfing exhibition held locally.
However, any weekend in the next few weeks that looks like surf, I may send an e-mail round for a get together with sunday lunch after.

1. All boards must be 25 years old or more, no new, retro or copies (Paul to adjudicate on authenticity).

2. Judging will include marks for style, innovation and age/brightness of wetsuit worn.

3. A handicap system will be used, adding the age of contestant and age of board, to give bonus points.

Contest venue will depend on conditions.

I have several vintage boards available to borrow, but reserve the right to decide who rides them (especially my 1967 bilbo).

I don't foresee there being any cost to enter, but will need proof of 3 rd party insurance from every contestant.

Finally, 70's/80's Disco Party on evening of contest.
