Just started stand up paddling thanks to a session on the River Stour with Paul from Bournemouth Surfing.
5 minutes on my feet and I was sold!
This board is a good entry level board - priced to get you in the water quickly because, let's face it, these SUP boards are not cheap! Don't be misled because it's a soft top, it's nothing like those tacky big foam soft top learner surfboards that schools use. This is a proper SUP with a soft top over standard base construction.
I've only been out on flat river water as yet [only had it a couple of weeks] to find my balance and it's fantastic! The board is easy to get going, and keep going, and (once you've got the knack) to turn too.
Can't wait for a still day with small swell to try out in the waves at Southbourne or Avon.
Get a paddle and get out there!
